Windows Mobile PDA with GPS

This device certainly looks interesting….. GPS functionality included with a PDA/smartfone device is just one step closer to having one device in your pocket that does everything you want. (Until we do away with pockets and just have the things implanted into our bodies…. but doesn’t microsoft have a patent for that?)

Is there a link for this one? Are there any Australian maps available? Is the software available standalone for those of us that already have PDAs? (I have a HP iPaq hx4700 - VGA screen - with bluetooth GPS)

There’s already a package that does this for those of us with Pocket PCs - Destinator Australia http://www.destinator.com.au/ (works on Pocket PC) - street price around AUD$540. http://www.ja-gps.com.au/ sseems hto have a pretty good range of products, some with bundles of GPS and PDAs. A competing product, Navman, http://www.navman.com/go/aus/ is only available with a PDA bundle but the on-screen display looks a bit more functional.

I’m a fan of the “one device, many uses” concept though - its good to see more and more things coming together.
