BigPond Movies.
According to Digital Connect News, Bigpond is set to offer Videos on Demand over the internet in the near future. After re-branding their fetchmemovies.com.au service to BigPond Movies, they now offer trailers over the net. Gadget Lounge is a bit cynical though. It’s one thing to offer a trailer on the net, after all, that option has been available on many sites world wide for years. Full feature video is well beyond our ability, if only because of bandwidth restraints. Broadband has got some way to go in Australia before the feature will hit our homes. They’ll have to stick to snail mail for now.
