New Microsoft Input Devices
A bunch of new Microsoft input devices have appeared at ActiveWin. There doesn’t appear to be anything too revolutionary to us, but you can get a fingerprint scanner built into your mouse or keyboard now. MS claims that it’s for making logging into web sites that require passwords easier and if you get busted for piracy after using one, we’re sure it’ll be a co-incidence.
We must admit though, some of the MS hardware that we’ve used in the past is pretty good. Their wireless keyboard and mouse combos tend to work pretty well. If only they’d stop trying to re-invent the function keys.
