Some believe that mobile phones are loud, brash devices that are turning the nation?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s youth into a bunch of text speak using illiterates but a new feature in collaboration with international and renowned museums could change that.
Its called Museum On The Go and it features images of famous works of art, photographs of historic personalities, voice and sound recordings, music and video for download to mobile phones.
Current big names to be associated with the feature include the Sigmund Freud Museum, Austrian Mediathek, Erich Lessing Archive, all in Vienna, Austria; Museum of Natural History and the Sound Archive of the Humboldt-University.
You can download wallpapers or screensavers from classic artists with wallpapers costing you 1.99 Euros and you can also download historic recordings that you can use as ringtones.
