Symbian 80 Gets BlackBerry.

Nokia 9500 CommunicatorNokia has officially announced BlackBerry support for their Symbian 80 phones. The 6820, batphone, was the first Nokia with the application, but this latest announcement means the Nokia 9500 will also feature it. For those who haven’t seen BlackBerry devices in action, they provide data, like email, by pushing the messages to the handheld. This means no dialing up to get your mail, an almost “always on” experience. The downside is that your email provider needs to have the BlackBerry server in place. These days there are offerings in Australia, like Telstra and Optus.
