No Australian iTunes For You.
Nope. No luck. Still sucks and we have to wait for them to get their act together.
“Apple will not introduce iTunes into the Australian market until all the deals are right and the timing is right. We have a different copyright system that has to be overcome plus a different currency system that fluctuates a lot. We are only two percent of the world market. It‚Äôs a commercial decision and Apple will concentrate on the major markets in the world first,” Tripp said.

Looks like were back to the waiting and speculation. Isn’t that like soccer, the pent up anticipation of a goal is more enjoyable than the goal itself. Well, maybe not. Perhaps we should make it a sport of it’s own.

i am so annoyed at this all i want is to be able to listen to my ipod with cool hip music but i cant i am very dissapointed at apple for bringing out something so cool but then leaving it for dead in australia.
i hate how this happened they should bring it out now so i and millions of other ipod owners have something to listen to. some people own certain apple i mac computers that cant down load limewire so we have to go to the music store but noooooo they dont have it here it is a real heart breaker.
my advice is to bring australian music stores out or ipods ae gonna go out of buisness and will be left for dead.
