Definitely not a hoax. My Zune cracked its screen today, and it is only one week old. I’m trying to find a way to get a replacement but… chances are I’ll be out of luck…

It is not a hoax, because it happened to my son! The inner screen cracked after only one month. I don’t know if it is the battery or what, but now it is useless. I am not biased either way, because I don’t use these types of devices. Three of my family own iPods and my son was excited to get the Zune. He took very good care of it; was not dropped and doesn’t have a scratch on it. We’ve had it round and round with Microsoft, who will not repair or replace. We are not the only ones having this problem; check other sites.

That information is a simple HOAX, the battery has enough room and cannot the display. That must be some dis-information from dumb “iPod-lovers”.
